Being used to Western ideals it's a bit unnerving when the kids just come up and speak to you, they obviously just want to practice their English that they learn at school so I do get asked the same four questions but no-one sees anything wrong with talking to an unknown adult male here, maybe it'd be different if it was me who initiated it. Sometimes the parents kind of shove them in my direction which is even stranger.

I think it's a shame that we treat everyone with suspicion because of the small majority though I understand why because if the small risk becomes the big actuality it's obviously calamitous. When I was travelling with work before the days of Satnav, I wouldn't dare stop and ask a kid or a woman for directions.
