I'm starting to wish we weren't over the Peak and the government kept the current Lockdown precautions in place. The main road I live on is getting busy again, and since yesterday the 30 mph sign is once again being ignored. Honestly, just seen a BMW come off the roundabout doing at a guess 40 then speeding up only to slam the brakes on cos the car in front was doing errrr???? 30mph!

The ALDI was a nightmare, free for all not much social distancing. I feel for the Aldi staff trying to cope. I'm guessing the same People will be out clapping for the NHS.

Then there's the stuff about parties, kids running free in groups etc. on social media. I am despairing.

We maybe, time will tell, over the peak, but people are starting to act as it's all over and life is getting back to normal. It's not and won't be for a while.

Speaking personally I actually want to stay in Splendid isolation more today than 2 months or so ago. I hope I'm wrong but I can see Covid 19 the sequel in every town soon. I really, really hope I'm wrong.

Sadly Mr Butt, but I have to agree with you. I plan to carry on staying in.

There'll only be more people out when the weather gets better and people will run out of things to do in the house. I can genuinely see a second wave happening. I'm curious what exactly the people outside (I see a load of them too) are doing, isn't everywhere shut down? Even if I didn't want to stay in, I wouldn't know anything to do outside anyway.

People aren't social distancing at work much either from what I've seen/heard.

Police stopping people from doing things they didn't want to do in the first place are outraged. People who normally only ever walked to the kitchen to get another bag of Monster Munch , police stopping them from doing things they would normally have moaned about if someone had suggested it before the lockdown , like pony trekking , visiting a miniature village , going gliding or visiting Madam Tussauds. Just because they have based their life around consuming starch based products doesn't mean they weren't about to go abseiling or Alpaca riding.

Its a police state.

its not a police state. its a bloody snoopers cannot mind their own business one. its nothing to do with the current situation but has just highlighted a situation thats been getting worse over the last few years. have had more rows with strangers in the last 10 years or so who cannot keep their noses out. its only a matter of time before i,m up in court for chinning someone. her indoors has already pulled me away more than once. only last week i was accused of fly tipping. was putting seed out for our local pheasants. thank goodness i,m 73 as another 73 years on this planet would be too much for me in this present world.

We find it difficult to stick to just one hour out of the house on our daily walk. We meet that many people, who all want to chat, and so do we. Social distancing is ok, we manage that alright but it is difficult, especially as my wife is Brown Owl to two packs of Brownies and kids out with their parents get excited when they see her. My daughter runs the village guide pack and my wife helps with that as well, so we are meeting guides as well. The guides and brownies have been set tasks by my two, so the girls obviously want to talk about the progress they've made. I've got to say some of the creativity that has emerged is nothing short of excellent. Some very talented kids.
