What's the first thing you will do when the lockdown is over?
Me, go for a round of golf.

HUFC. If they're away, Stockton Town F.C. then

I understand the lockdown will probably end long before football resumes but until the game comes back fully it'll never be the same for me.

In Canada golf courses actually are earmarked to be among the first to open.

Cant wait to get back playing pool. Our season was put on hold with us sitting mid table in the premier league.. It’s gonna be a while before snooker and pool is allowed to resume though

Why couldn't it restart in time?

Hearing a lot of these sort of doomsday outlooks on the future. Even Raab has hinted that local sports might not be allowed to restart even in the summer.

Sorry but they have to start at some point.

Just for everyones sanity.

Talk of pubs not opening this year or restaurants. Now sports might not be allowed to be played. The mental health of the nation needs these things to start soonish

For clarity I am not saying these things need relaxing now but by the summer.

Yeah, it'll be good to be back playing. Tonight will only be the third postponed round of league fixtures but it's likely to be a long while before the league restarts, if it even does.

I have a feeling it could be finished but the winter league might have to be scrapped to accommodate it being completed.

That's a possibility, and something I suggested to the committee when the league was suspended. I quite like the Winter League as it's a rare chance to visit some of the pubs in Divs 1 & 2, but I can't pretend that teams treat it with as much respect as the main league, and it seems an easy way of making room for the main league to finish. The league is already due to finish earlier than I can remember, with no league games scheduled after Nov 1st. Could work.

I hope that’s the case for purely selfish reasons as I don’t usually play in the winter league myself. Agree about enjoying the chance to play in different pubs though. Had the Navy club and the bowls club in the cup last season. Both cracking venues that we wouldn’t usually get the chance to visit

Already lost 2 holidays to this lockdown so i'll probably try and get in some days out or short breaks to make up for it.

Use the money from the holidays to buy a nice car too.

I've been furloughed, so if this thing continues long enough I can carry four weeks holiday over into next year, don't know if I'll be able to handle 11 weeks holiday but I'll give it a bloody good go.

Trip to Hartlepool to see my Dad. Missed the trip I'd got booked for earlier this month and I can't wait to see him. If Pools were playing and the pubs had reopened that would be even better...

Gigs
Going into work

Eating out
Beer festivals

Just going where I want when I want

Make plans to move to Australia, their government seems better equipped to deal with such events.

Either that or live on takeaways for a whole month. I know some are available now but surely eating food prepared by someone else is as risky if not riskier than standing less than 2m away from someone.

Eating food from takeaways is a risk at the best of times, I don't know why people do it, but its certainly risky in the current circumstances you would've thought . the backyards of takeaways are generally minging , that's all I need to know.

As for moving , Australia is a long way to go. It would be Scotland for me, if it gained independence.

More than half a million people die in the UK every year. If you spent all your time thinking about the things that could kill you, you would never go out. Michael Gove smokes ciggies and snorts coke for instance and hes on telly giving advice on staying safe.
