If the sun goes bust I suggest mass street parties to celebrate once the lockdown is over.

I've never bought the rag in my life, not even when abroad and it's the only one left on the stand. Pure rubbish.

It was a long slow descent from the Daily Herald to The Sun, but they made it to the bottom through the forest of tits, against all odds.

And they still haven't apologised for their Hillsborough headlines.

Not-too-serious take on the Sun before and after Murdoch...

its handy for cheap mid week and weekend breaks. cut out the tokens and bin the paper. the only question to ask yourself is which bin do you put it in. household rubbish or re cycling.

The pre-Murdoch Sun was my newspaper of choice back when I was a lad. It was the one with the best astronomy news and skywatch information. And headlines that probably erred on the bland side.

No sir. Bare titties weren't yet democratised and Sammy was a twinkle in her dad's eye.

The original Sun looked like this and stayed like that until the Murdoch got its hands on it..

apart from those pair i old memory of the sun was that it never had the previous nights football results in it. was a standing joke with some of us that newspapers were for news but the sun was for history as most of it seemed a day or so behind the others.

I agree that the Sun is generally shite but Tom Newton Dunn is a fine journalist. I worked with him back in 2007 when we did the Brothers in Arms project with Mark Knopfler. He’s an exceptionally bright guy.

Strange then that he works for The SUN  I would've thought the really bright guys work for the Daily Mail

I read in the Sun yestday they don't expect the pubs to reopen till the end of the year. Probably correct on that given the fact the death toll is struggling to get past the curve.
Them BBC podium briefings haven't changed in the last 3 weeks. Loads of shite about the government's strategy is working n there's lite at the end off the tunnel.
Must be a long tunnel.
Anyway I'm Predicting pubs will open in October the same time football fans can get back into grounds.
