But she isn't an MP. Yet clearly she is a political appointment. Those in the NHS must hate her guts.

It really makes you realize how completely rattled this pathetic lot are when Jeremy Hunt comes across as virtually sane.

Of course they're politically savvy; how else did they get to those roles without knowing what to say and when to say it to their masters?

Cant be that smart if none of them pointed out the obvious flaw in the Prime Minister sending a letter to every household in the country. I picked mine up wearing a pair of gardening gloves and burnt it on the allotment. Then I burnt the gloves as wellfor good measure.

Corbyn is where he usually is..........on the fence or hiding. Three time losers adopt that stance. Didn't you know that.

Don't get too carried away with his performance, he's only doing his job. Unlike your mate Corbyn who nobody entrusted with a job, especially the very wise electorate.

Just watched her comments again. I actually want to smash her face in with a hammer.

Now before the usual suspects come on i dont actually mean I would do that but no comment throughout this whole charade has made me more angry than someone supposedly representing the medical world making such crass politically based statements.

She should join the others in the dock when this is over.

In fact her own profession should be demanding her removal.

Every time Harries has appeared I have thought her tone is patronising and condescending.

The daily briefings are becoming more pointless by the day and they stopped being useful about three weeks ago.

" The UK is an international exemplar in terms of preparedness.” How can she say this and keep a straight face?

I've seen nothing like this before in British politics , incompetence on a massive scale , but the worst thing is the lack of honesty , pragmatism and humility from most of those involved , you would think it was a crime to tell the truth or admit you may have got it wrong.

"When you see supposedly independent medical advisors to government tell what are manifest untruths to shore up a political regime whose credibility is rapidly collapsing, you have to say that those advisors have lost their integrity and our trust." Richard Horton, editor of The Lancet, commenting on yesterday's press briefing. Must be a demented trotskyist of some sort.

FFS is he still being given attention? What was it then? One big plot to allow governments to have tighter control over us? Or 5G?

yes and er yes. Health advice was all "for the further ambitions of the ClandestineCult and not to protect publc health". Electro magnetic energy attacking immune systems etc.

Another classic political response aversion tonight by the medical woman again when asked a very simple question

Do you support NHS workers refusing to work without the correct PPE?

She didnt say yes.
