Ground Improvements

Dunno if this is true, as I tend to take everything I hear with a grain of salt until its announced by the club, but I was told that next season we will have a new stand at Pools. 2000 seater on the rink end that will become the new home end. Apparently its the stand from Feethams, and has the players changing rooms underneath.
Guy who told me reckons it was someone from inside the club that told him, but like I said... Not sure how true it is. A 2000 seater wouldn't raise the attendance by much if they are planning on making the town end all seater too. Was just wondering if anyone had heard anything similar?

Didn't the stand fron Feethams go to Workington or somewhere over that way ? It's certainly been gone from Darlow for ages, thought they would keep it in case they need any more seats for the Echo Chamber !

You can never have too many seats!!
Problem for Darlow is finding the fans to fill 'em!

I hope there is plans to build at the vic, and I think the rink end is the best option to build on, but maybe the Feethams stand was mentioned to make it sound more definate.

How's Brackstone settling in at Darlington? Doing OK?

Sorry....I vaguely remember one of the 'elite' almost pulling off an April Fool (was Atweasle born in April?) with news of a new stand at VP which was to be taken from Feethams ? Was sure it was you and thought you'd just been casting your net in easier waters yesterday.
