its mad down here with the floods luckly i am uneffected living on high ground however saying it may rise in Abingdon tonigh again tesco's is flooded so running low on food etc however i have a cunning plan, i am off on firday so driving back to sunny hartlepool after work for the weekend.

people getting to oxford ar knackered as the main road there is closed, whats the weather like at home

It's certainly looking dire down there. I keep getting moments of sheer global warming induced panic, wondering how quickly things might get out of control altogether. (Am not listening if Dibble answers that....)

Tesco had problems in Durham last week too....they've never heard of drainage apparently. Otherwise OK

It's called 'Climate Change' now after the shite summer we are having but if it's scorching in September/October it'll be back to being called 'Global Warming'!!!!

Well at the moment (8.57am) it's sunny and 79F. later the forecast says sunny and 91F. Cloudy tomorrow and 93F.

cheers for that update kev, i looked at the weather forcast doesnt look good for my trip home tonight however the north east looks sunny all weekend so i am heading to the right place in more ways than one, bad news for people down here again its started chucking it down again

It's actually the US who started calling the phenomenon climate change because they thought it less scary than global warming. A classic case of newspeak, and, therefore, something that should set the alarm bells ringing!
