It was a good one I'll admit. Mind you, if I'd actually heard of Christie before this thread it would have been a better one!

....but when you look at music today there's oh so much more to get worked up about than the streets. The fact he gets held up as a modern day poet and genius irks, and yes he may not be a genius in my eyes, but there's far far worse out there
File between 'whatever' and 'okay'

Fucking hell, I can't believe I just read that thread.

How can people get so pissed off about a windup? I think it's very funny that so many got bought in by it, and people now throwing their toys out the pram and personally slagging people off have made a show of themselves IMO.

As Dibble says, some serious humour bypasses in here.

'for a start he never sent the txts'

Whilst I do agree slagging him off was out of order...he did send the texts!

I managed to turn it on it's head within 20 seconds, by replying to the Dutch Texter with the news that Christie had in fact already scored twice for Boro at Darlo, who were leading 4-0 after 11 minutes. clappp clappp

I see goal machine Abbott didn't score again last night, that takes him to 1 goal in the last 21 games now and none in his last 13 rolfl rolfl rolfl

Very good Mad John - you got me on a technicality.

It's not a case that I don't have a sense of humour, i just don't see how pretending Pools have signed someone or got someone on trial is funny. It's just a shame Mr Costello wasn't kicking about on here last night and then some of us wouldn't of got our hopes up.
