... that bleedin Harry Potter book that's just come out this week.

All over the telly and the Sunday papers. I've never read any of them or bothered with the films as they are kids stuff that grown adults just shouldn't be into unless they are swotting up on their kiddie knowledge ready to go grooming. Especially the freaks in the queue to buy it all dressed up.

BUT, I would really like to know the ending so that next time I come across one of these weirdos I can tell them what happens and spoil it for them. Can anybody help?

Agree, it is all quite sad. I watched half of one of the films which is more than enough.

I think the ginger one gets killed.

Behave yourself you miserable gets. The Harry Potter films are fantastic if you're a kid and perfectly watchable if you're an adult. Maybe you two should stick to one man and his dog.

And what's wrong with OMAHD? There's skill and tradition and an appreciation of man's ability to work with nature. They get really competitive as well, those shepherds.

It used to be the only thing worth watching in the school holidays after Kickstart had finished.

"Star of the Sea" by Joseph O Connor is a good book reccomendation.
Bit of a historical odssey and thriller combined on board a ship on its way to New York from Ireland during the potato famime. Well worth a read for those who might like that sort of thing

Behave yourself JTB. Why not focus on things that really do lower (or improve) your quality of life and that of others too.
I mean if Harry Potter is so popular it must be for a good reason, mustn't it?
Mustn't it? sctatchinghead

not the type of story i like to read but the missus loves it and the films are well done and full of lil bit parts for british actors which i'm always pleased about - the kids like em too.

I was having a dream and I dreamt that Michael Stipe from REM had bungee jumped into a river and had got someone to cut the rope.

After I dreamt that it was on the news that some Harry Potter fan hadn't got a book and had tried to kill himself by jumping in a river.

Anyhow...never read the books, seen clips of the films but no more than two mins worth, read that bits of the film were influenced by The Smiths on instruction by JK Rowling.

Anyhow, I'm on about random bollocks here...

anyway let's focus on the mastermind behind all this.......a blonde, quite fit for her age author worth tens of millions. I would..................

Anyway, I reckon she could now write a script akin to an episode in Viz and people would still buy it.
She most likely has ghost writers now as well......pah, they only end up in a hole in the ground like the rest of us don't they???

Way too late, JB. It was released yesterday. Most of the people whose fun you want to spoil wll have already read it.

This worked a treat for me. Read it in two minutes and now if anyone starts telling me about the book I threaten them with the ending and they can't get away quick enough! rolfl

Kev, the author is a lady called Joanne.
So this is the key to your apparently random behaviour. No-one had taught you the facts of life
