Guys, this is going to sound a bit weird but Im trying to find out the name of a place in the region that I have been to but I dont know the name.

I went on an advanced driving course about 18 months ago and the instructor chose the route. We ended up driving round lots of villages and country roads around Northallerton.

We stopped in this tiny villiage where they had this church type building which had been converted into a gift-shop/coffee-shop. The instructor told me that they actually specialise in making chocolate there and made chocolates for the QE2.

The chocolate was awesome :sweeeet:

I know its a long shot but does anyone know the area and have any idea where I mean. sctatchinghead

Cheers

Cheers for the help guys but I have just found out where it is.

It is in a small village called Orton near Kirkby Steven. I thought it was somewhere near Northallerton (Geography never was my strong point! :uhoh: )

Here is a website for the shop... http://www.kennedyschocolates.co.uk/

If any of you guys are ever over that neck of the woods I would strongly recommend popping along, the area was fantastic with great roads, scenery and the shop/cafe itself did the best chocs ever!

Cheers

What is the Forbidden Corner like. I think that we are taking the kids that the mrs looks after next Wednesday weather permitting, is it indoors or outdoors. Isn't there also an ice cream factory in Leyburn?
