Sweeney still "key part of new look set up" as First team coach.

Not knocking Parkinson (who might prove be a great Assistant Manager) but given our well publicised tight budget might this be too many cooks for a small squad with no reserves?

And could the money have been better spent on the playing budget?

surprised that colin woodthorpe has not come with challinor. was his assistant since challinors first job at colwyn bay and followed him to fylde. wonder how long sweeney will be at pools if things do not work out.

I may be wrong but I think I read his wife had just died so imagine not a time for him to be moving to another area etc

its sad for woody if thats true. he has had a bad few years off the field with illness in his family. think she,s been ill before and had one of his kids seriously ill also. met his wife once. nice quiet but friendly lass. not the normal footballers wife type.
