Massive game, the kind of game we have been losing for a while now ie on a good run and get that game that will put you right in the mix should you win and we get turned over. Win this and were sat in 10th and 6 points off top and things start to get exciting.

2-1 win, Sweeney to be correctly given the job afterwards.

Pools 4-1 Solihull Moors

Game suspended after a massive outbreak of sparklers being swirled round in circles to put Solihull's strikers off. Things calm down after an old bloke comes on the tannoy and shouts,"Behave you daft twats, you'll have somebody's eye out!"

Ken Hodcroft arrested after holding up a placard opposing Moorish immigration into Warwickshire.

I wish to object to the nature of this post! You are being blatantly and provocatively Sparklerist and causing distress to the sparkler community, who have already decided to no platform you from all universities throughout the country.
The non gender wheel collective (formerly the Catherine Wheel Society for Gentlefolk) have put a price on your head too.

I'm going to set off loads of Roman Candles before we leave Europe and can't import them anymore.

What a boring game, no spark in the team.

Teams like Solihull must practice time wasting they should be ashamed.

Another Jekyl and Hyde performance. First 20 to 25 minutes we played like we were going to score a bag full, played confidently and quickly, carving them open at will with some sharp passing. Did they just tire or what, or was the system changed. Why did sweeney keep holohan on the pitch?

Holohan?, what about Donaldson, dear me he gets worse but manages to run Jonathan Franksesque with no end result and he couldn`t hit a cows arse with a Cello when shooting!

Usual result when things start to get a little bit optimistic. I liked what Flowers did in the 2nd half, they had 3 up top but not how we do, they werent tracking back - they just stood with our defenders and it was suddenly like a game of basketball where every attack looked like a goal. I presume he gambled on fancying his team to take a chance before us and it worked. Everyone in the ground could see their goal coming and then it was back to 10 men behind the ball and we all know we struggle with that.

Great to see Williams on the pitch, that 30/35 yard pass with his first touches to James was out of this world and then he came so close to scoring with his 2nd touch. Cant wait to see more of him.

Strange night, we kept getting into good shooting positions around the box but nearly everytime it was on their wrong foot, Holohan and Donaldson inparticular. Thought their blonde defender who got booked was decent.

Thought their number 6 Gudger was quality, read the game well and the ball was like a magnet to him. Overall we huffed and puffed but have seen that performance plenty of times in the last few years. Team sits deep and counter attack and we have no answer to it. We get better results against teams who try to play football but struggle with teams like solihull.

so pools performances are irratic. same with every side in this average league. up to the new manager to make em less so. the season is far from over just yet. would not put a penny on any result in this division as there is not an outstanding side which makes pools league position really annoying.

Unfortunately we have no aeriel threat up front, they had crosses coming into our box and got people on the end of every one, we on the other hand had many crosses into their box which were either cleared or nobody there to get on the end of and when we did they lacked any real power or direction....very frustrating.
