There are some great football people in the North East, managers, players , coaches alike, our problem is we nearly always recruit the worst of them , the ones no one else wants. When we have recruited well , hey presto, we've had a half decent team, such as during the IOR years.

its not just about good or bad recruitment its just to me that the impression of the club is that it seems to be north east or nothing. if the two brothers at lincoln had a fall out at the club and they were cheap could anyone ever see em as pools managers.
