Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear.
I found Barrow a narky side and this robotic ref was a perfect complement to their 'agricultural style' of play. Quick to spot any pools infringement and surprisingly understanding of Barrows misdemeanours.
This league's referees do have a unique interpretation of the games rules.

Totally agree, it,s seems to be the norm in all our games I,ve seen at home . I thought the refereeing in League 2 was bad but this league is a whole new world.

calling him totally inept was praising him. seen some bad ens in my time but he must be near the top. like a load of young refs they are as fit as the players but no idea about the game. the assessor would love him as he was up with play and made his decisions clearly. cannot blame barrow as they could get away with stuff so why change. spoilt what could have been a decent game for me.

There was one incident in the first half that was just completely baffling. James held the ball up well, turned his defender, who then brought him down, then the ref gave a free kick to them despite their defender being nowhere near the ball

That was utterly bizzare but pretty sure he also did the same to Muir later on, guy slid in at him - missed the ball and ref gave them a free kick!

Another fucking awful ref and the mil house linesman was just as bad an all.
