September's Monkey Business, no 172, is now online with the usual mix of comment, cartoons, nostalgia and all things Poolie. And there's naturally a favourable response to the team rebuilding which has taken Pools into the playoff places. http://www.monkeybizz.net

Without wanting to be negative honestly, in these days of the internet the match reports are pretty pointless. More other stuff please. I know you can only print what you get and I suppose thats down to all of us.

Don't get me wrong, but technology has moved on and this board and others has taken over the role.
If only I knew how to get a fecking cartoon on here I'd start again.

I remember when MB was that good and popular that I once got rebuked for sending in a match report , too boring they said, and that was in the days when not as many went away.

Thought the comment about Chris Turner was a bit harsh , I've always found him to be a top bloke , not dour at all.

Please start doing cartoons again Snowy. Give them to someone off here who can scan them and digitise them.

Hmmm good idea.
Oddly enough? I'd still buy a paper copy of the Biz. Impractical of course, but there's something nice about it, can't explain why, but it is. Loved it.

I didn’t want to start an anti monkey biz thread. Mr Elmo does all the work himself and it’s been a staple over a couple of decades but for it to continue it needs better content. That part is the responsibility of everyone. I guess I’m promoting the idea that we should perhaps do a bit to help.
