A couple of weeks ago The Corner Flag announced it would not be open for all the World cup games due to renovations, surely the club should have stepped in and opened one of the bars for the games in that period. They could of had Craig Hignett as the host giving his views on tactics and player at half time. What is the commercial manager doing certainly not doing the best to raise revenues in the close season. If the shop is moving why not offer the old unit to one of the large bookies on match days. Come on Pools think out side of the box.

They opened the bar for England games in euro 2016. Watched the Russia game in there. Was good

Good idea Essex, maybe direct to the club next time and then it doesn't come across as another moan.

I genuinely think it's a good idea mind.

The commercial side of the club is shite.

Chipgate summed it all up!

I'd say that's a bit harsh but to be fair it's in keeping with the rest of the club after years of abuse/neglect. Onwards and upwards!

I think Essex has a fair point as well as a positive one and definitely don't see it as a moan, more like a positive suggestion.
Pools' commercial department should be alive to these opportunities and when they are not I welcome contributions from Essex et al to gee them up a bit.
Keep it up my son.

It probably isn’t that much of a money maker for the whole tournament. Low key group games on a weekday afternoon are not going to have many takers, The Vic is a bit out of the way compared to where a lot of people actually live. Open it for England games and latter stages I’d say but I’m sure they are probably doing that anyway it normally has happened in recent years.
