I think given the circumstances he would play tonight and we should probably risk him as well.

I may have just invented this but is there like an international window where you cant play for a club time so soon after an international game?

I'd play him if he feels ok, he's only a lad, at his age i was playing saturday morning, sunday morning and sunday afternoon.

Centre half's probably do the least running on the pitch other than the keeper so he'd probably be fine and as you say he's only young. Don't think there is a ruling, Carson was on the Ireland bench against Wales last season then played for us the day after.

I reckon you’ve invented it Bradford’s keeper this weekend played in Turkey on Friday night landed back in Dublin at 5am then got back to Yorkshire for 8 had a little kip then played for Bradford on Saturday!

The thing that also strikes me about that story is I didn’t realise Bradford were splashing the cash as much these days. It’s also heart warming to see such a big money player going the extra mile.

I’m pretty sure Trevor Carson turned out for us the day after being involved for Northern Ireland only on the bench though.

Did you play well though ? and you didn't have Louis Laing or Scott Harrison alongside you.

Think that only applies if you pull out of a squad through injury.

I wouldnt go as far as saying i played well, i at least turned up though :-D Probably had aido alongside me, which to be fair is a level up from harrison and laing.

Probably still full of beer from the Saturday night and i think i only turned up to the sunday afternoon for the free food after.

That Sunday afternoon league was something else , generally players and refs with little else going on in their lives , with the odd person who just liked a game of football

Every Sunday I genuinely feared for my life playing in that league.

I seem to remember their being a full Asian team made up of lads from the dilshad n other places n they pretty much got chased off the pitch every week
