Because they won in the shitty FA Trophy last night.

These games should be scheduled as midweek fixtures like the Football League trophy it’s a nonsense that they are Saturdays especially when we are already having a bad winter.

Nice bit of fixture congestion for us. For a squad that didn't look the fittest to start with it might be a struggle. 10 games in 44 days!

Looking at Bromley's website, they only have 2 midweeks free and the game has provisionally been penned in for the week leading up to Good Friday.

Plus what income would have come in can't be used to pay wages etc this month. (Or be diverted to someone's Swiss bank account.........allegedly)

Why ? its the non league version of the FA Cup. Lets change the course of history, because Hartlepool United are now down amongst the dead men.

The FA Cup is the non league version of the FA Cup, this is secondary like the Football League trophy as is reflected in the attendances. It causes fixture pile ups every season.

I’m not saying scrap it but scheduling all the games for the second half of the season on Saturdays seems a bit mad to me especially after a winter like this one.

I wouldn't compare it to the Football League Trophy ( WTF is that anyway?) The FA Trophy was always a big thing for non league clubs. It has though , like the FA Cup seen its importance diminish recently , due to the increasing popularity of the Conference/National League/Div 5 and the clamour to get into the football league. The same problems the FA cup faces with the clamour to get into the Prem Lge.
