We've had the black sky and some cracking thunder and lightning but hardly a speck of rain.

It must have all fell on Portrack instead!

Just to let you all know it is bright and sunny this morning.

It probably won't last though as it is forecast for rain later.

It is quite clement down here in rural Nottinghamshire with sunny skies and light southerly winds. I do hope this continues as I have several domestic items to take to the tip.

And it's a bounder when it's raining.

If it helps me lose 6lbs in 10 days, which I have done, then it only has to "Last" another 4 weeks and I'll be down to the weight my Doctor has suggested I reach to stay alive. Theres always a reason.....
THAT'S THE CATCH.... IT HASN'T TO LAST ANOTHER 4 WEEKS...it has to go on and on to maintain it. I think in all honesty you'll find it's what you give up, not what you take up that reduces weight, a balanced mixture of both is preferable... next patient please, close the door on the way out

More words from the wise man. You'll like these Dibbs:

"A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back, he's really going to want to see a fucking cross? Ow! Maybe that's why he hasn't shown up yet...it's like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a sniper rifle pendant... Just thinking of John, Jackie. We love him. Trying to keep that memory alive, baby. [mimes shooting a rifle] I did that routine in Fyffe, Alabama, and after the show these three rednecks came up to me. 'Hey, buddy! C'mere! Hey Mr. Comedian! C'mere! Hey buddy, we're Christians and we don't like what you said!' I said 'Well, then forgive me.' Later, as I was hanging from the tree..."
