Was out doing deliverys this week and went to Spennymoor, loads of streets around the ground are closed as they are doing big redevelopments to be able to be eligable for the play-offs. No disrespect and good luck to Spenny but if Pools are to survive we could end up in a division below them. Not good.

We could be 3/4 divisions below them.
But ye good luck to them.
Changed their name from United to Town with a decent owner and smahing their way thru the Football Pyramid.
Also in the quarter finals of the fa trophy on Saturday.
Average about 900 crowds but still have ambition.
Listened to Jason Ainsleys interview the other week said we have no superstars who always give 100% even when they train 2 nites a week.

Not advocating we change our name to Town by the way.

Spennymoor United folded/went bankrupt so they "merged" with the struggling ENL div 2 Evenwood Town. The "merger" meant the team moved to Spennymoor, changed their home kit to Spennymoors colours and used Spennymoors badge. Also use Spennymoors History. Better than starting from scratch then? Ask Evenwood fans how they feel about the merger!!!!

Apart from that Spennymoor are progressing well, with a good chairman and a good infrastructure, and good forward planning.

Hope this is balanced!!!!!!!

Aren't Spennymoor in the national league north? Along with Harrogate, Blyth Spartans and Salford, The last time I checked the table Salford were top by around 10 points if I Remeber rightly been a while since I checked it like, But if we do survive and if we don't go down which I'm sure we won't, Then we may well have Salford or Blyth back up here again if they go up, A can see Salford been in league 2 in a season or 2 the way they are going with all them behind them with the new stadium they have build and so on.

Shitttt just checked it there and Harrogate are top go them!! Didn't they beat us pre season am sure we got woodsy and featherstone from them to, Salford are behind them Blyth 4th York are 5th and Spennymoor are 7th and Darlo are 18th five points above the drop, Would make a good playoff final York Vs Harrogate like if Harrogate don't finish top and York stay in the playoffs, I woudnt like us to go down but just imagine us playing Darlo again must of been 11 year now I think since we played them, Can always Remeber William's Goal at their place where his first touch was sublime and volleyed it over the keeper good day out that was right behind the goal to.
