I had the BBC news at ten on last night. They had a report about the chicken shortage at KFC.

The reporter was telling us what happened. The reporter then interviewed a 9 year old girl who was disappointed, angry and - most importantly - hungry.

The reporter then visited several KFC outlets - but all were closed. That was what the reporter had done all day. Visiting empty chicken restaurants.

Now I did a little journalism when I was younger and although I am no expert, I do feel qualified as a viewer to pass comment.

What the frig is the point of that journalist? Is he taking the piss? Isn't journalism about challenging and questioning those in power about the big issues that effect society today? Highlighting abuses that the public should know about?

A 9 year old cocky little sod is hungry, because she can't have her bucket of grease on sticks. Let's drop the twatt in f ucking Somalia and see what she orders from Burger Shyte. I hope McDonald's don't run out of ketchup sachets, otherwise little Timmy from Glossop might be on Newsnight to say how he's starving now his chips are too dry.

I bet this reporter got into journalism to make a change. Another story like Watergate, maybe? Coverage of human rights abuses that happen every pissing day? Or secret herbs and spices going to waste? I hope he hangs himself in shame. You know what change he's made? Nothing. They still haven't had their chicken delivered. Dixy Chicken, Chicken Cottage and Krazy Fried Cluckers are sweeping up.

What a f ucking world.

Sounds like something else fell through and they've filled the space with whatever they could get. Does sound like a massively weak story but its a bit harsh hoping he'll hang himself because the editor didn't put him on an investigative piece.

I once had to interview a load of old Status Quo fans outside Newcastle City Hall because the bloke who'd set the story up forgot it was his anniversary that day. Even though I'd rather have been bringing down governments it didn't make me suicidal. To tell the truth, I was well pleased to get some production experience.

our journalists would be denying that chicken has ran out, and would hold a talk in with colonel sanders.

Really can't believe you lot. This is when they need us the most.

I'm gonna give as much of my spare herbs and spices to Colonel Sanders. I wouldn't dream of backing a start-up chicken joint - we shouldn't even be considering it.

Mr Horden I believe the rumour is true. KFC are setting a pop up shop outside the Vic, a Chicken sandwich with salad and mayo, reduced price due to no Chicken in the bun!!!. The family bucket reduced as you get an empty bucket..... and so on!!!!
