sdont worry i never did hate century as their commentry is so one sided, it was hilerious last season was flicking through the channels on a saturday when slavern was saying boro where doing brilliant at holding the opposition, flick over to five live and from all accounts it was like the alamo

Quite interesting that the reason Eric Gates left the 'Three Legends' because he refuses to work with Malcolm Macdonald again, the reason being was that they (Gates, Macdonald, and Slaven) went for talks with BBC and Macdonald went back to the Century bosses and told them what was going on.

The only reason Slaven probably didn't do the same was because of the Boro commentry and now they have lost it to the BBC, how ironic rolfl

I've arranged an interview with the editor of sport at BBC Radio Cleveland for my site about next seasons coverage of Pools, i have some in mind but is there any questions that you want to ask him? like how much coverage are we gonna get etc.

Whatever you ask them they patronise you... ask them if they can reduce their broadcasting area to exclude Hartlepool now, as from a sporting standpoint, they now serve no purpose to us.... and here's me thinking a public broadcaster was supposed to cover all the local teams.... :roll:

I've got a question about them supposedly being a public service broadcaster, not doubt they'll come out with the 'only station to over pools in every game they play' line like usual

It's about time Hartlepool had it's own Radio station.There was Pool FM? a couple of years ago, but it only used to come on air for a couple of months and was then off for 6 months before coming back on again.

The 'supporting Pools home and away, every match etc, etc' line is utter bollox, as it is all relevant to what else is on offer... they can come out with that line because the other local stations virtually ignore us and Darlow and therefore the snatches of coverage we get are better than nothing, but only just! They may use the defence of coverage of some night matches, but only when the Borers aren't playing.
HOW DID THEY HAVE THE BRASS NECK TO HAVE AN ADVERT ON THE SIDE OF A HARTLEPOOL STAGECOACH BUS EXTOLLING THEIR BORO COVERAGE... ask them just how patronising that is for me, because it just about sums up their coverage in a nutshell.
