Elliot is a good signing.

Sounds like we'll be playing with wing backs next season.

Mcunnie/barron/??? Antwi Nelson Clarke Humph/elliot

Midfield has got to be difficult to pick though. Any theories???

FIrst theory says that Micky Barron will never be a wing back as long as he has a hole in his arse.

Playing 3 centre backs would let Micky B play in his best position in between the two centre halves though.

barron will make an excellent wing back. he has pace to burn, is an excellent crosser of the ball, and is one of the best passers i have ever seen in the history of proffessional football.

There's only one "f" in professional

I completely disagree. Barron was our unsung hero last season. He is a true professional and works hard for the team.

I thought Barron did a cracking job at right back last season Danny.

But he still aint a wing back and never will be.

And I still think that the best he has ever been for Pools was when he played in the middle of the centre backs when Turner played 3-5-2.

Are they mutually exclusive?

If you have an overwhelming urge to drive all the way to Dundee in your bare feet, then yes, you are experiencing a mental breakdown sctatchinghead

Back to the footy question, I hate 3-5-2 for me best formation is always 4-4-2 for balance, the full backs can still bomb forward if they want

Is proffessional the same as professional?, I mean Barron may be a good professional but a very poor proffessional
Just a thought like

What about driving from near 'The Queens' to the Headland in bare feet, with a pair of flip-flops on the passenger seat ready for your arrival?

Nothing to get off my chest but I was just wondering how far you had to drive in bare feet for it to be classed as a breakdown

If you had said no then Edinburgh might have been the magical answer
