I wouldn't be too sure. Clark and Nelse will have to prove they are worthy of their places from now and it wouldn't surprise me if either of them is on the bench on the first game.

Robbie Elliott played in the FA Cup quarter final less than 18 months ago and the lad from Liverpool obviously has an ambundance of quality.

If I was Richie Humphreys, I'd be looking over my shoulder too.

I still think we should go with the strikers we have and give Porter,Brown,Foley and Mackay a chance to show what they can do alongside Barker

See I'm not sure that will be enough, mainly over my doubts with Barker who has yet to play that much in this division (he played half a season when Rotherham were promoted way back and thats about it I think).

I reckon both Foley and Brown will benefit in this division as it is less physical than the one we've come from and pace will be an important factor, however I would not yet like to see either of them being classed as a starting striker as I think it puts too much pressure on them.

Obviously if Porter stays fit then we should be ok but after the last 2 season no one can guarentee that.

Mckay is one for the future, obviously 6 months of pro training will have brought him on in leaps and bounds but I would still expect him to have only a bit part to this season.

As such I think we have room for a six figure signing up front, be it Duffy or someone else in the same mould.

My worry is Antwi.
I can't see Liverpool being too happy, if he's sitting on the bench watching Nelse and Ben.
They've loaned him out to get experience and that means time on the pitch.
If he's better either or both of our existing centre backs, then yes, they've got a problem.
Same applies to the full backs, but there is no 'external' pressure there.

Looks like an interesting pre-season, especially if we can bring in one or two more
to put more pressure on the wide men and up front.

I think we need another centre mid to for cover

I defintley dont think we need to be signing another centre mid. Unless we're going to get rid of one.
