..... it just dissolved before our eyes. Bizarre formations, even more bizarre selections, not to mention an inability to find his best team. Then there's the signings who appear to be plumbers between jobs, they aren't footballers.
It's still August and relegation is a fear this abysmal state of affairs makes a distinct possibility.
Someone grab the fucking wheel, we're heading towards the rocks.

Ronnie Moore, Paul Cox, Mick Wadsworth, anyone who knows how to get a team doing the basics get on the phone.

Pam you've admitted you're football knowledge is limited. Don't take the cheap option next time.

It's a really horrible situation on a human level, I think he's bought a house up here and moved his family up, everyone is desperate for someone to succeed at Pools but I have seen nothing like as shit as I watched today in 30 years of going to Pools. The players literally weren't trying they were an utter embarrassment to the shirt, the lowest of the low.

He does seem a really likeable bloke as well, and as you say we don't want to be a club that just changes mangers twice a year.

But I said that this week was an opportunity for him with no midweek game to sort Podge situation out, get a new CB and have a good week on the training ground and then get six points in three days to get the season up and running. The reality is though that he has done that, but ultimately we looked even more horrific, never mind improving.

I really want him to succeed, but we are going backwards.

He has to change our approach. We can't keep doing the same things and expecting different results.

Can we just have someone in charge who knows how to build a team and gets them doing the simple things well.

Sorry Mr Snowy, I have a fairly secure job and a decent enough reputation so I'm not available

I would not "wish" that on any team never mind our team!! Appear to be plumbers ?? Are you for real frosty? What have you got against plumbers and footballers? Grab the fucking wheel? rocks? Its a fucking football club its our fucking football club its not a "boat" and all the players and staff deserve our support through thick and thin and not stupid bloody quotes of "plumbers" just goes to show how much you love and support this club . ..Yes the team is very low on confidence but quotes like that will not help one bit. I believe the players look at this board to get the fans opinions if that is correct do you truly believe your comments will help or hinder the players and the future of our football club? We are all frustrated but we have to keep on supporting the players/ management / club otherwise things could get a whole lot worse.

I know it's 6 games in and all that but I'd sack him

Are you for real?
YOU in another post mentioned a broken leg for Amond on his debut, I said I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I stand by that from personal experience. I think my criticism must have touched a nerve.
If you think for one minute my post was unhelpful you should join the cast of 'In the Night Garden'.
If as you say the players read the board, good. They might just get the way a lot of people now feel.
You just carry on wrapping them in cotton wool, saying "there, there, don't listen to the nasty man". Crack on. As long as they carry on like this, the flak will keep coming.

Worrying about what the players read really this is for the best one liners thread. In any profession you should be concerned about your own performance and have some respect for yourself and for persons who employ you. If a player reads these comments then blames that on his performance well he should thank himself lucky he doesn't have to go to work like some people do on zero hours. Pandering to these players and loyalty to the club is the reason we are served this dross.

Exactly how I feel, thank you.

Yes, it was awful, but it's not fair to cast the net over all the players. There were some who tried. Cassidy put in a shift. Goodness knows how many long balls (horrible tactics) aimed in the general direction of his head, but he won a vey high percentage of them.

Personally I don't think things could get a lot worse, I guess mercifully we have Pam who saved the club by the skin of its teeth so we remain in business. She has backed the manager to the hilt in terms of player recruitment, none of whom anyone really complained about at the time of signing. (Franks excepted but for good reason given his previous comments)
We have already become a non league club but are heading for oblivion on the pitch at a rapid rate and the players who are the only ones who can do anything about appear disinterested, unwilling and incapable of doing anything about it.
Can we survive another relegation, probably not.....Can things really get a whole lot worse?

It was frustrating as he kept winning or at least getting something on the ball but he had no support so looked aimless. Hope he keeps it up as it's only hard graft that will turn this around.

Really don't fancy our chances away to Guisley, they're nothing special but I don't think anyone else we've rolled over for this season has been.
