Always thought of these as nothing more than handy phrases to describe Pools' worst teams and players.

Until yesterday when I was cleaning out our septic tank. Pump I was using seemed to be blocked so I adjusted the end of the out pipe. The pressure released itself by firing the lump that had blocked it into my face and then the pipe did a sort of snake dance firing vast quantities of brown fluid into the air and then down onto me while I tried to get it back under control.

Will be more careful about using these terms now I've experienced them.

Thread is ripe for toilet humour... not from me though, I won't take the piss...

I can sympathize hear, when I had the Smith's arms the toilets were backed up, outside drain uphill and they had problems previously.
Just had a shower after busy night in kitchen and went outside with a mop handle, lifted the manhole cover and thete it was, a massive wad of toilet paper blocking drain, gave it a few prods and a 20 ft geyser of shit went up above me, i dont know why I didn't move before it came towards me but in less than 10 seconds I was covered in it, i then chucked up with the smell, had a crowd of onlookers laughing their heads off and one bastard said " not nice being served shite huh" touche!

A mate of mine had a blockage in his old mans house and when he was home off the rigs came round with his mate to sort it out. They lifted the manhole cover to find it full to the top with shit the consistency of modelling clay, the indent of the manhole cover pattern was there moulded into it. They got it cleared after an hour using rods and a hose with hot water. Unfortunately...... He used his rigging gloves and when he finally removed them to the bin, the colour had leeched into his hands with the smell of shite. He tried all sorts of cleaners and took a while to lose the odour from his hands.
