Just wondering.
I heard Romania were playing Chile but haven't had it confirmed.

I was going to watch it but got bored during the build up which seemed to be 10 minutes of songs/silences/anthems with regard to the Manchester/London bombings etc.

As horrible as it all is, I wish they would just stick to a minutes silence and get on with the game.

Watched it and it wasn't an awful performance despite lacking any adaptability from the starting tactics. OK they changed to 4 at the back but the style of play was pretty much the same. The keeper in the first half will hopefully never play for England again and Oxlade-Chamberlain really didn't do well. As a team we did ok but individually you'd only swap Kane, Alli and maybe Stones into the French team.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Dier against Kante and Pogba says it all. Pogba is overrated for me but still light years ahead of the English equivalent.

Not sure I'd pick Kane ahead of Mbappé, Dembélé or Griezmann.

I would pick him ahead of Giroud...who was playing.
Dembele was decent but not a lot came off for him, I know of his reputation but can only judge on what I saw.
Mbappe looks incredible, if he goes to Real Madrid it won't be long before Ronaldo spits his dummy out at not being the best player.

Fair point on Giroud Mr Crab, he is strangely shit for a well-capped international.

Strangely shit but strangely adept at scoring goals. If you took away the 70s Gauloises advert looks, he could pass for a proper English centre forward in the Sutton/Ferdinand/Smith mold (the Leicester and Arsenal one, not the guano Leeds and Manure one).

He's a decent striker, at the wrong club. His offside goal showed his ability.
