I remember watching him play at Mansfield v Pools - he tortured Scott Harrison at right back and delivered some real quality crosses! Good luck to him hope his move is successful.

Yeah good luck Nathan, if he hadn't got injured we'd be going down to the Conference next year instead.

Anyone else struggling to get their head around how we can accept a lesser bid (which was derisory) then we accept another bid (which was derisory) that is slightly higher from another club. Surely if another club is interested you can use the second bid to get the price from the first club up? Unless Boros bid was just Steve Gibson feeling sorry for us? We've heard since the start of the season that plenty of clubs were showing an interest why just accept the first bid?

FFS man £200,000 that is ridiculous.

Wilder even said a number of clubs were interested they must be pissing themselves laughing 22 year old, just signed a new deal last season as well;

His age alone should have given us a couple more 100k. He has great potential at 22.

We didn't have much of a bargaining tool though did we considering we're skint. Sheff United will be laughing, and have got themselves some player when he turns it on.

Expect Carson, Amond, Allesandra and possibly Walker to go next.

Interesting one could be Rodney. Might sound ludicrous on the back of 2 goals but it wouldn't surprise me to see a League 2 club take a punt.

Rodney could be one of them players , like Mikael Mandron, go to a National League club and score 15-20 goals

I think it would be naive in the extreme, if you think selling players for £1,2m would satisfy these crooks.

They would pilfer the transfer money and still want money for their shares.

If they were prepared to walk away with the transfer money and hand the club over to the trust, that would show a level of humanity they have shown none of so far.

Five hundred thousand for James with hindsight was brilliant business has hardly scored a goal since and been let out on lone twice. Whilst Thomas was great before his injury he never produced afterwards and his attitude left a lot to be desired. However time will tell.

I'm really struggling with this that I keep hearing and reading that Thomas 'had a bad attitude' What is this based on exactly? Him saying in January that he wanted to stay at the club until the end of the season? Terrible attitude that.

Half a million for James wasn't brilliant business at all at the time it was about the going rate to a League One club, Thomas to a Championship club when other clubs wanted him is laughable and scary.

To be fair to Thomas Dave Jones was having a pop at him in the paper as soon as he started playing again. Our tactics were set up to be narrow and feed off scraps from a target man. I can't think of a single player in that team who would thrive on that apart from, ironically, Amond as the feeder!

Thomas was still carrying that knock I think and if rumours are right from the middle of last week then his fitness may have affected the initial price.

Good luck to Thomas, livened up the start of the season. Confidence wrecked by Jones.

The worry for me is that Pam gives the impression of asset stripping. Clearly he should have gone for more, but as in January it is get the money in as quickly as you can. I get the impression she has little knowledge of the football business.

Though to say Championship players should be bought for more, I presume we got a lot less for Laurent than Thomas, but then the same applies. Oxford got £4m for Roofe, which sums up our desperation.

Once Pam is finished we will still be in debt to her yet she wants the fans to take over the club after the rest have wrecked them.

I still think Coxall had good intentions, just he was a fantasist and took over a club losing £1m a year, without the funds to support us.

Next season will be very tough.

It's a fire sale. We know it. Pam knows it. Every fucking Football Club in the country knows it. Who gives a fuck about horse trading for more money when you just want the money fast. Might as well put a sign saying "reduced for quick sale" across the players shirts. When every saleable asset has been liquidised Sage will then fuck off and dump the carcass of Hartlepool United into administration*. Until then the message for us stupid, sorry loyal, fans is to support "the future of the club" by buying season tickets ASAP, or at least before the shit hits the fan.
You know it makes sense!
*Allegedly!!!

There would be no need for any of this if only I had bought those second hand pint glasses off ebay. Feel like its all my fault somehow.

Coxall is a conman.

JPNG is a fantasy.

The whole operation has been set up.

You are simply the sort of gullible fool that Coxall et al needs to succeed.

Same here, but looking back ,a lot of what he has done, appears planned, more than just plain naivety. He is a Conman, lot of them about I'm afraid

Back to the transfer fee for Thomas, it's an outrageously low fee in today's market for a lad of this age and potential. Mad John's comment is perfect, like the type of transfer fee for a decent midfielder 20 years ago.

I just can't comprehend the level of incompetence or desperation involved in the club to agree it (or just purely to make as fast a buck as possible regardless and then clear off putting the club into administration)
