On pools world. First time I've seen mark simpson cut parts of a post match interview. Very frosty between both, jones having a right go when his fight was questioned, how dare you question this he states. Basically defecting most of the blame to the players.

"I've put my reputation on the line", just do one jones.

Mark SImpson and Brian Honour were superb on commentary today. Passionate, caring and honest. The post match summary was particularly direct

Fair play to Simpson, clearly cares about the club and good to hear he is not scared to be honest etc.

Lots of edits on there. One of them just cuts to Jones who starts getting wound up when Simpson asks about his fight. He proper goes off on one.

Can't remember the exact words but he seems to start to slag the fans off for not getting behind the team then backtracks a bit saying we all need to stick together

Totally at odds with what we need to hear right now.

In no other business would he be considered management material.

Their WMD's are as reliable as Jonah's famous 'nous'.... Probably hit the Corner Flag.

Saw on Facebook that he was in some kids face (15 years old) berating him for his lack of support and only backed off when a couple of blokes intervened. He was going on about the fans having a lack of passion. Dave Jones who stands in the dugout not moving. I think having 4000 home fans there yesterday despite the shite we've seen is nothing short of miraculous.

He keeps talking about his reputation - well, Davey Boy, listen up - your reputation is totally screwed. And you really want to scrap with an adult?

Why bother interviewing him at all. You could put any inanimate object there with a tape recorder playing the following phrase on a loop...." Nowt to do with me, the plays don't do as they're told"

It was my mate and i who stepped in . Just walked out the pub and noticed jones basically in the face of some young lads. Wasnt putting up with that, so we give him both barrels. Didnt take too kindly to some home truths. Think the words fucking pricks came out of his mouth at one point. police arrived and he sneaked of like a thief in the night.

Dressing room unrest. Not that it wasn't evident on the pitch. Such an unlikeable bloke, that post-match interview smacks of a man who thinks he's far too good for the club.
