And what have they done with our real players...?

It deepens further.

Players getting paid based on results?

Or perhaps the experience manager we have in charge is actually now starting to get into their heads and make a difference. He's done it before, he said he'd do it again.

Obviously Assenso was the rotten apple holding us back.

Wow, what a difference a day makes. A six point cushion and a superior goal difference.

Agree with chip. Also huge that our 3 main attacking players all scored, should be a nice boost to their confidence for the run in.

About time our luck changed , can only be good for confidence , let's hope it continues into future games

Let's be honest the first half was utterly dreadful, as bad and as depressing a first half as we've seen all season from Pools. We got a break just before half time though.

Second half we had a bit more belief after the goal, but Fryer (who looks the part) made a brilliant save at 1-0. The second goal was again a gift the keeper completely bottled a 70:30 in his favour and left Amond a tap in. Then after they went gung ho with the three subs we looked like we could have scored every time we broke. Suicide from the Crewe manager. Credit to young Richardson for the third goal, great bit of skill and great cross before the scramble and Thomas brilliant to round things off even if again the defending and goalkeeping left a lot to be desired.

Bottom line is that is a crucial win and some much needed confidence for players who needed it, like Allessandra who has been low on that for a couple of months. You can't knock the players of late, we are down to the bare bones and we are seeing committed performances. Even with the lack of options at the managers disposal and hardly nothing on the bench you feel we can give anyone a game at home. Another encouraging sign was Crewe, on that evidence you have fancy them to finish below us. Defensively awful and the towel went in at 2-0 from the players and manager. Another ten minutes and that could have been 6-0 and we weren't even very good. Also worth another mention Scott Harrison and Brad Walker, superb the pair of them who'd have thought it eh!?

Crewe seemed to be like what we are..a side who basically lacks belief soon as ho a goal down.

I was genuinely worried by Crewe's frontline. Apparently ours is better!

Going a goal ahead seems to give us much more effort for the team to hold on to.

Crewe folded especially when the 2nd went in, but Richardson did very well for the 3rd and Thomas' goal was worth going to game just to see that

crewe have improved a bit in the last few weeks. were in freefall at one time. a 4 nil win must give all the players a lift no matter how it was achieved. next game in important due to this.

And those three same players were the reason we got results at the beginning of the season, too.
