For long enough we've had managers who say they want to get players out on loan but nothing happens. Jones doesn't seen to be having a problem doing it.

Good luck to him it's but it's fairly staggering that he's managed to be a professional footballer for 6 years, he's surely played his last game for Pools.

Maybe but Richards is not up to standard and never will be. I can see him struggling at Confrence North level.

Can we make anymore loan signings or is the window completely shut for League clubs?

Agree that Richards isn't up to League standard - (though he always gives 100%) - but there's now only kids for cover right across the back four.

Bates has now played 16 on the bounce since coming back from the treatment table, so by Chip's reckoning he's 10 games overdue for his next injury!

Seriously though, gotta hope there's a defensive signing in the pipeline - the back four are bound to get injuries and suspensions in the next couple of months.
