It would be anyway wouldn't it? Once it's raised dont you have to wait until the judge throws it out (or whatever actually happens)?

"Bear in mind, even if your company pays the debt, the case can still be heard at court and made public."

Not saying this is what has happened but it's possible.

I'd say it was likely that Mr Crab. The first WUP went to court even though it had been paid in full beforehand.

I fully expect this one to be dismissed after the sale of any player that another club had an interest and the half pint glasses on eBay..

Exactly the same happened to Southend a few weeks back it will be dismissed because it's been paid.

Still on the day it will create unwanted news involving the club as the one with Southend was on the half hourly news bulletins on TalkSPORT. So whatever Coxhall says about it it's not going to project him or the club in a good light. You'd imagine for it getting that far we will have also incurred costs.

If we believe coxall (I know, I know ) we had paid most of it a good few weeks ago. I seem to remember the figure being roughly 6k left to pay (could be wrong). If that is any where near being true then I would imagine the answer will be yes.

Or you can have the short answer of 'who knows?'

This is why the other board are wrong about peopleon here.

Nobody wants Coxall to fail, but his absolute lack of clarity and the way he brushes aside comments with utter sarcasm mean he asking to be critiisised.

If he had been honest from the off, everyone would have got together as one, and rallied round and fully supported him.

I am half expecting him to slag this place off tonight, and favour of those appearing loyal to him.

Even though those loyal to him made some horrendous comments about Dave Jones appointment, espceially when they thought compo had got it wrong.

But despite it all, there is no reason why Coxall cant turn it around with some honesty and transparency.

Lets see what happens

Possibly but if a CVA is agreed it could be cheaper overall. These don't seem to happen as much as before though.

Agree that it reflects baldly on the club and potential sponsors, partners and suppliers will think twice.

There are certain people on Facebook who seem intent on turning every post into a bunker detective wankers, same people every time, grown men with kids, fine examples of human nature.

i don`t bite anymore because it gets me in the dog do, but standing up for your belief is then muted!

Didn't Southend sack their groundsman a few weeks back? Could be where they got the money from (saving all that salary)?

Read something from a Southend fan recently who said that their Chairman sees owing HMRC as a cheaper option than short term loans. It might be but ours does both which gets a bit worrying.

So, how much does it cost taxpayers to fund a court hearing to hear that a bill has already been paid?

Good point, well put Ms Grabec.

As for the payments etc, is Coxhall just flying by the seat of his pants? IMHO at best a Cavalier attitude. at worst......?

Court costs are still awarded Mrs G. Had they not have been paid along with the bill then it wouldn't have been dismissed. The 106k included costs. They'll be between £1500 and 2k.

Apparently it was Notts County Ladies - the new chairman is thinking about scrapping the Ladies team but at any rate they got a 49 day adjournment on the petition.

Can't see Notts County laddies going down now the new owner is in place - could be a big crowd and a cracking atmosphere by the time we go down there to play them on 11th March.

It was both the men's and women's teams in court

For some reason the BBC seemed to think this was more newsworthy:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38881575

But in the real world, as you say, the entire club is still up to its neck in guano:

"However, Pinnacle Advantage Ltd, who say they are owed £669,640 by the club, then stepped in and became a 'substitute creditor'. These latest proceedings have been adjourned for a date yet to be fixed."

I'm probably barking up the wrong Tree here, but seem to recall Pinnacle (maybe a different co) sponsoring Notts Forrest a while back. Maybe have some personal/business links to the new ownership and perhaps be based locally? Supposition my Lord, of course.
