This is why a referee should NEVER referee a football match.

What you are looking at is a ball boy kicking the ball into the net and a female referee giving it as a goal.

Judging by the standards we get here then it could be argued that he was in fact correct with his original statement.

Those lads should know that women never listen to any arguement, they close their ears to the obvious every time.

Is she still refusing to open the back door?

Many moons ago, my aunt and uncle were driving home from the club.

A blue light appeared behind them and the copper stopped them. He wandered up to the drivers door and make a sarcastic comment as they do: 'having trouble getting off the ground are we Wing Commander?' or something similar.

Eh? says my uncle
I've just followed you at 45 MPH in a 30
Not possible, I never speed, you must be mistaken
mistaken? I've just followed you!
No, I was doing just under 30
No you weren't, I clocked you at 45
Sorry, I was doing about 29, I always do
Sir, I followed you for over a mile and you were doing up to 45 Mph!
You must have a faulty speedo, I was definitely doing 29

At this point my auntie leans over and says....

Listen, you wasting your time, there's no point arguing with him when he's had a drink!

The full story

http://rawstory.com/news/2006/Goal_by_b ... 22006.html

That's truly one of the funniest things I've seen at a match.

Between the ball boy getting the ball and the ball going into the net, four seconds passed. The referee had her back to the goal all that time. But surely she didn't have her back to the goal when the original shot was taken? So during those four seconds none of the officials was watching the ball? Did she think there had been a sudden gust of wind which caused the ball to swerve back towards the goal and trickle ever so slowly over the line while the goalie just stood and watched?

I've just realised I've overlooked the obvious conclusion.

The linesman says he saw nothing irregular either. And this is Latin America. The friggin' match was fixed. It's a stonewall cert.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking.
