'Why do you think some of our so called fans ate the the club enough to want to jepodsy it?'

He's got a point.

Are you on about the 'friends' board? I'd rather not look there thanks. I'll never get that time back.

Like Bresslaw says, he has a point. You're only going to jepodsy the club if you are eating it.

Seriously though it's sad that fans can't unite, sadder still that people ignore facts purely because it suits their agenda rather than benefits the club.

I think with that lot it's a case of projection, they think the people questioning the club and involved in the Trust do so because they are 100% hell bent on being in control of the club (as opposed to wanting to secure the survival of the club).

If you remember when JPNG started and the Trust were engaging with them the other board we're totally anti JPNG and 'Tweety'. The response was to set up this sort of pseudo Trust called the Friends Group so they could also be talking to the Chairman and be in the clique again somehow. It's worth remembering that the indirect ringleader of that group is the fancy dress guy and they all loved the insider craic from Russ Green.

It appears they've been brought back inside and are now back in the pro club camp.

Hopefully they will realize that people who worry about the current state of the club are in the pro club camp and would have preferred some of the questions Brian Honours Left Foot proposed to have been answered rather than questions about biscuits and Parmos or wanking off because Gary Coxall was matey with one of them

It's odd though, why there's often this tendency for groups to split into factions, even if they've originally got together because they've something in common. Even the Nursery folk club used to have one group of people who weren't speaking to the other.

After the initial split, it's generally just a matter of agreeing with whatever anyone in your group says, and criticising all members of the other group. What the facts are doesn't come into it usually.

Of course there's usually a reason why the groups split in the first place .....which, in the present case, it might not be wise to go into, in public.

Rivalry between fans who support the same team.
This shit could only happen at Pools.
Probably wont be resolved until the league table says we in the top seven.
We could have a long wait before all fans are UNITED again.
Strange how social media works people slaging each other off who probably wudent say boo to you in the street.

I think we all know what Mr Norman was saying, despite the obvious and amusing mistakes he made.
To continue the name calling , by people on both ,boards does no ne any favours.
Nor does calling people who attended the q/a "retards" "arse lickers" or only having one brain cell.
I am concerned about what is going on. Answers given on Tuesday didn't clarify things to me. However the venom being spouted on here and the blind loyalty on the other board is not at all helpful.

It would be good if people in both camps rose above it. We're all Poolies at the end of the day.

To be fair, most people do rise above it. The vast majority say nothing about it.

This 1000%.

They labelled him tweety whilst we welcomed his presence at the trust launch night.

Since then, as opinions have changed, so has that of a few bottom feeders who fancy a few freebies and acclaim that the fancy dress ringleader gets.

Only reason the friends group was set up was because 1. Mr I n a few others thought of the trust first 2. For freebies (getting them already) 2. Perks and getting info first 4. To derail trust momentum.

True. I know a few lads off both boards and all are sound as a pound. Maybe time to just get along as we are all pools fans. If you can't get along just maybe ignore each other?

It's basically a Monty Python sketch all these groups/forums popping up all hating each other despite all wanting the same thing.

He's always been negative and it's rubbed me up the wrong way a few times but Mr Horden is another on that board who has posted plenty of sense lately from the bits I've read.

Ron Chambers. A very, very good bloke. Doesn't seem to like me, but there's plenty in that club lately. He's got his head screwed on.

This trust thing irritates me I mentioned having one many years, ago and was totally shot down by all and sundry on here, so what changed I don't really know but felt humilliated by the reaction to my suggestion. I am happy that one exists as we have needed one for a long time, hopefully we can all move forward together

Fair enough mate, I guess anyone who did shoot you down at the time probably would eat humble pie and agree with you now. That's what normal people do react to the evidence in front of them and it's possible to change your mind.

Your last sentence is spot on

Fair enough if you did, you were right. Hopefully the doubters that remain can also be won around. I think all it takes is a little scare for most people, others maybe a bit a more.
