A 19 year old kid.

"That is where this club is at this moment" says Dave Jones.

One simple quote that probably says more than Coxall has on Twitter this season.

Worst defence in the league. Non existent midfield. Sign two young strikers with no experience.

Only at Pools.

I didn't think he sounded pissed off, he would of spoken about and been aware of budgets prior to signi....err....saying he'd manage Pools.

I think it was more a case of lowering supporters expectations. He knows the club's on the bones of it's arse and being prudent while also building relationships with local clubs is vital for us.

Then build relationships in positions we need cover. At the last count we have 18,458 strikers or attacking midfielders.

There's no spin can be put in this fucking joke of a transfer window. 2 first team players out, 2 kid loans in.

Let's be under no illusion, if Carson or Thomas were fit they'd be gone too and we'd still have got absolute shite in.

Imagine Coxall's pissed off he didn't manage to sell anyone else. Was going on about shifting players on twitter.

"while he accepts goal-scoring is an area for improvement" mmmm! not the best quote about a striker.
good luck to him.

Did he ever specify which year though?

Sick of trouble makers trying to bring the club down by following the man-made concept of time.

I'm not expecting the lad to pull up trees, he will more likely to be a bench warmer who may get the odd run out. To me he sounds a lot more like Oates and while I think Oates lacks in ability he certainly puts a shift in and that could be vital against better sides.

Sadly we already have an Oates, a Devante, a Paynter, an Amond, an Allesandra and an Orrell.

If we want kids as backup there's another 5 or 6 in the youth team.

Absolutely shite signing that's only been done in a last ditch attempt to save face.

Once again we seem to have no interest in signing competent defenders and/or midfielders. Fear the worst.

I'm more worried than anything else. We needed to strengthen, we needed players who know their way around this league and could lead a team. What we got was some loan signings and first team players leaving.

This shows we are heading for the rocks. Simple as that. This was the point to redress and strengthen the team, but even minimal requirements have not been met. As a sign of intent it shows we're lost and there's an inevitability about how this season is going to end.
