I think its time they try and sell up and give us a fighting chance. The last year has been a joke for a company in its first year of running a football club. So out of their depth its untrue. A transfer window that has been an utter piss take and we now play russian roulette until the seasons out.

Can't see who would want to help us with the shite we're up to our knees in.

Can't see the people of this town ever coming together enough for the club to survive if he just walked out the door.

Can't see a future in the football league.

Can't see through this haze of alcohol.

He has managed to sell 3 players of limited ability, to higher up teams and convince quite a few poolies everythings fine with bull shit. Im sure he can sell a football club too.

Hope he gets pelters at the meeting.

Although 500k is good business for Laurent (in fact Wigan have been ripped off at least twice this window), where's the replacement? Where is the enforcer we need in midfield, how about a centre back? Why have 25 strikers? Is this just the beginning of some asset stripping?

We're sleepwalking again and this time we may not get so lucky. Maybe it's for the best if we go down, JPNG bugger off and get this club under the supporters. Rebuild, win more games, may take time to get back up but long term, would it be worth it? That's if we don't go bust. Feeling really negative about Pools future.

Fuck knows how Jones feels/is involved in all of this? Struggling to make sense of it all.

Maybe it is just a short term cash flow problem, but likely something much more serious.

If coxall has any business sense, he'll use the 500k to get rid of the debt... if it covers it.

He then needs to come clean over the state of the finances to the fans.

The problem with that is... IF coxall has any business sense.

He has had his chances to come clean.

Kinda thinking he has missed them all. Not sure what good it would do now.

500k?

Fuck off.

All of you that believe that can go and fuck right off.

The wigan website says he is one for the future and probably the lowest ranked of their 8 signings.

Gary coxalls fantasy island.

But Gary said Laurent was 1 of 7 potential 1 million pound players so surely we are rolling in it now. I mean the cash in a suitcase that belongs to coxall is going to help the squad isn't it? Surely re-invested?

Even if it is 500K it will probably be in instalments. No quick fix there then!

As I said earlier, this lot running (ruining) HUFC should be rounded up and sent packing!

Already told the postman to put my ST renewal letter in the green wheelie bin to save me from doing it.
Coxall will be gutted that hes wasted money on a 2nd class stamp not to get £250 back in return.

Absolute pessimism all over. You need to have a look around. Browsing the Internet I feel absolutely re-fucking-freshed about this. This club is going places. This town is on the up. Gary Coxall WILL be on the next new year honours list.

We have the ground knocked down, then we'll just build another one! Think of the employment possibilities. I mean there's a good job there for someone putting the nicked police tape around a few posts isn't there? We could even have someone pick up the dog shite for 6 quid an hour.

In The Fraud We Trust.

i will be amazed if we got anything more than 5000 plus for laurent now. Maybe with appearances and sell ons it might reach 100000. Im sorry but 500000 is just pure nonsense, just like the millhouse project.

I've never known a transfer window to bring about such pessimism. This is unreal.

We have a history of going into the last part of the season stronger. When the chips are down we come good. This year we have somehow managed to leave the transfer window even weaker, It's nearly impossible to manage that, we have. Newport, Cheltenham etc must think Christmas has come. Our run in is the hardest of everyone's we are doing our best to bring about football suicide.

Footballing wise, We've scored 36 goals and conceded 47. Mansfield, Plymouth, Luton, Colchester in one month. The last thing we should be signing are strikers, when you've got Amond on a bench and you're playing Walker in midfield.

Wonder if this is like the Rodney case were Coxall signed him against Hignett's wishes or not? Either way, were down to embarrassingly hoping a club goes bust, to replace Newport who will stay up, and hoping Orient don't go on a run. Shambles.
