I think at his age he has decent potential. Out of the squad probably one of the only ones left that could demand money and warrant a higher division move except Thomas and Carson.

It's besides the point. We're crying out for midfielders, and we go and sell one of our better ones. Can't believe it's 500k though - reckon we'll have sold for peanuts and Wigan felt it was a cheap risk worth taking.

Strength, height, energy levels were all in place. I'd say he was intelligent too.

Still wouldn't pay £500k like but he has a lot of starting attributes needed imo.

First touch, passing and finishing etc may all follow, who knows.

You can see a footballer in him and that he has the attributes to be one at a decent level. He played well initially then had a dip which often happens with young players not used to playing regular first team football. The problem is with young players when they have a dip you end up having clueless terrace bell helmets slaughtering them and saying they are shite which can cause lasting damage to confidence if they are left in the firing line too long.
