One thing I didn't like Iggnet for was scattering him. One of our most consistent players for a good while, who rarely went missing. Hope he plays shite against us like.

He was at a Pools game before Christmas I think I said at the time that a loan move wouldn't be the worst idea with Magnay out. It would free up Donnelly to play centre back or as a more combative option in midfield. I think he would have added more in terms of what we need than 19 year old kid.

He was offered a deal but chose to leave, Hignett did seem to see Magnay as first choice right back though which might have been part of Duckworths thinking.

Would have loved him back here, even Magnay has not hit the heights Duckworth did....his wasn't a position that needed strengthening when it happened.

I never got the impression Moore rated him that much either, and obviously neither has Fleetwood manager as he hardly gets a look in. A few injuries added as well his career has stalled a bit since an excellent first year with us.

Well if what the Orient fans said about him as a player at this level he'll be fucking shite. I remember one suggesting he was their worst player a bit awkward when he was also the manager!

He played against us at Orient last season, was very strange watching him 'manage' on the pitch. He should have been head and shoulders over anything out there, he spent all game pointing and shouting.
