Haha! Dreary doesn't get close to describing Mowbray's press conferences. Mind you, Danny Wilson is dull as ditchwater in interviews too, and I'd have him back.

If radio chat was any sort of qualification for a football manager David Hodgson would have talked Darlo into the Premier League.

Be interesting if this does come off, you've been spot on in the past Compo so no reason to doubt you. Noticed people copying this rumour and placing it on other platforms after you mentioned it, so people must be taking note and taking it serious.

Could well be another fact the Bunker has produced, no wonder it's the number one Poolie message board.

Give over man. Everyone hates pools on here. Its the only reason I joined.

If we were true poolies we would have set up four squads of maitenance teams working round the clock ro assist with the ground improvement scheme announced.

Well, if it turns out to be Dave Jones we didn't hear it here first.

Everyone knew but I think avoided saying it.

I didn't, obviously.

If I've accidentally enlightened all the other mushrooms who were in the dark and not one of "those in the know" so be it.

Is it Sir Alex Ferguson? He managed in the Premier League for a bit and has been out of work for a while! :confusion-confused:

How do you get someone to open a book on next manager?

Hignett to be gone within a fortnight. An experienced manager (ex Premier League and Championship) returning to the game after a break to come in and turf out the dross and make us a 'professional club' again.

Offers received from 5 clubs in League One and the Championship for Nathan Thomas. Player wants to make sure the club is safe before he leaves so is willing to wait until the summer for his move.

Any more news for us mate?

Can only afford youngsters yet suddenly we can afford to pay off a manager and employ someone who has actually managed at any level before. No chance.
