Being an exile I very much rely on Pools Player for the match commentary (so generally I can't come on and comment on the matches and performances I haven't seen this season as that would make me some sort of mad man).

However in a year of bad news I wanted to end on a positive, I really enjoy the Pools Player coverage and particularly when it is Mark with Brian Honour, both very honest, passionate and bring the game to life. .

I also think Mark Simpson is a very good commentator quite talented and a lot better than the shouty, hyperbolic, sycophantic tosspots who seem to get jobs on national TV and radio stations.

I have to agree with the professionalism of the Poolsworld team. The only problem is I listen to the match thinking we've played well/been unlucky and then you come on the bunker and find its been shite.

Haha well....they do say when it's shite mind as well. Brian Honour doesn't pull any punches that's for sure. It's probably more balanced than the fans mind in terms of assessment (puts on tin hat and runs for cover)

Haha yeah I don't get the impression he's the most confident of young men especially not in front of the camera.
