That sounds a bit harsh to say the least Mr Mutley. Hope you get double time for New Years day though.

I'm working until Friday but then I've got a full week off providing there aren't any unseen events that suddenly cause work. Can't wait. I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year. Don't know why because I'm normally a bit of a miserable get about it.

I work 24/7 365 days a year and would'nt have it any other way. Mind you in a way wish I was a Civil Servant again, the holidays were great!!!!

I like going in between Xmas and New Year, it breaks up the tedium and stops me eating shite.

As usual I will by shutting up shop for two weeks, starting Thursday. It's great being your own boss.

I don't like Christmas much. I was a Postman for 13 years and during that time the run up to Christmas was just a bloody great slog - starting work at 5 a.m. and, sometimes, working up to 4 p.m. Doing a delivery the Sunday before Christmas was also compulsory, so by the time Christmas Eve came around I was knackered. A decent pension was a bonus, however, allowing me to "break up" some time ago.

Nobody works 24/7 365 days a year, that's physically impossible and anyone who says they enjoy it should be restrained in a padded cell.

TBF I am a full time carer for my dad who bless him has Dementia. Guano hours, Guano pay, but the job satisfaction is worth it.
