Couple of people have mentioned him saying they'd love him to return as assistant and is currently manager of Sheffield FC. Wadsworh has not been there since 2014, he was only in charge for 6 months and he is currently working in the youth set up at Sheffield United. I would doubt he'd be in the frame or would want to give up a cushy number to come back to Pools.

Given our seemingly precarious finances or lack of them I would imagine that either Rob Jones would step up to Assistant manager as he was at Doncaster ( I think) or Sam Collins, I cannot see anybody else coming in and Pools saving a wage as well as scoring a bit of compo from QPR for Fleming.
Personally I think Hignett will walk sooner rather than later over finances.

I think Wadsworth got the sack because it was the first season of the season ticket offer, where we sold something like 5000 STs, and we couldn't get a home win for love or money.
And it's been downhill ever since.

I seem to remember he never wanted to be manager and was happy to be coach but got pushed into it?
