Speaking of another girl I know in France...

She walked liked Marlene Detrich and she danced like Zizi Jeanmaire. Her clothes were all made by Balmain and for some reason her hair were full of diamonds and pearls.

I've just discovered the illustrious Mr Sarsted is in a care home about ten miles away suffering from dementia. I'll try and arrange a photo for the Bunker.

I bought a black leather jacket by Balmain from a charity shop in Sunderland a few weeks ago for a tenner. Wonderful quality leather - unfortunately it's extra large and I'm medium! But it was too good a bargain to miss! I'll just have to set my self up on ebay or summat.

Please don't (assuming that you mean a photo of how he looks now). As anyone who has lost a parent to dementia knows, there's no dignity in that horrible condition and it's much better to remember folk as they were.

As someone who looks after me Dad who has Dementia, I concur it is a not nice disease or subject to discuss. Me and my Dad just laugh about it and as it happens, I just enjoy every day we still have together.

As for Peter Starsfeld, who was the 1 hit wonder, what did you call his more successful brother? Unless I've got them mixed up! Not a quiz and can't remember (no GOOGLING ) anyone?
