I like Gary Coxall and I don't think he's up to anything untoward. I do believe that he has the interests of the club at heart and I also like that he answers questions. On his answers, there were too many gaps which is probably down to what he can't say at the moment and whilst he did say the players had been paid, I would have preferred the words 'on time' to be in the question. My belief is that despite his best intentions and efforts, the cashflow position is untenable.

Either way, he's communicative but a lot remains unanswered. I would like a lot more detail on this finance agreement. Whether its a bridging loan, a draw down finance agreement, a long term loan or an initial payment by an investor. Also what shareholding are these lads getting if they are getting involved?

If Terry Fisher is involved in buying into the club that could be good news as he has a good track record with Huddersfield. The devil is in the detail and the level of investment.

If, if if.

In the old days the answer would have been they're being paid straight out of the gate money.

Nowadays...the mind boggles. The company accounts, if they ever appear, should be a right laugh.

I've done a fair few stints on boards (unpaid) for trusts and voluntary organisations. About 15 years ago I got asked to join the board of a little publicly funded organisation down in Leeds. When the annual audit was due it turned out that the general manager had let all and sundry take £19,500 out of the account as petty cash - that there weren't any receipts for.

When it turned out that the rest of the board didn't want to sack him/her because said person was undergoing a sex change, I resigned. Or to put it another way, I resigned because it was gross professional negligence - no excuses.

Mike Peden was a good communicator with the fans at Darlo, whilst remortgaging the east stand a couple of times to pay bills. We all know what happened next...

I also believe Coxall only has good intentions. However he seems to be a little narked and surprised that anyone should think we are skint? Surely that would be everyone's guess if your getting winding up petitions, apparently paying players and staff late and also taking out loans? Aswell as the manager talking up Thomas and Laurent at every opportunity. It's a fair assumption to make imo.

Hopefully he has something thing up his sleeve and our concerns will be quashed.

He could also do with making an announcement on official site especially if the papers dare to actually run with the story (if it is a story?) and I believe the Echo has since removed certain bits from their 'article' as not everyone has twitter and their fears will not be alayed.

Good summary of coxall and jpng. He alluded to an announcement soon but didn't want to say anything just yet as nothing's final.

I'm sorry but Twitter isn't the forum to be answering these matters. It's not professional at all and does nothing to reassure me that our club is in safe hands however good this bloke who we know very little abouts intentions are. Quite the opposite in fact.

You can be selective in what you answer and you can't answer anything properly in 140 characters for a start.

I have a seriously bad feeling about how this will end and have done from the start.

I agree. Twitter is totally the wrong forum to engage in this sort of stuff. So is a message board, even though the answer can be more detailed. Really would like a talk in where some set questions could be taken on the issues currently under debate.

We, (Myself and Chris Ranson) have a regular Pools Podcast online . It's been going a year now so surprised you haven't heard it or at least heard of it. ANyhow, Gary Coxall has agreed to be a guest on the show.

Watch this space..

He reaches the biggest audience that way.
Talk ins are the territory of the die hards, the League of Gentlemen supporters who want things discussing in confidence for the elite.

Both mediums are completely shite for communicating business issues.

He should just make a public announcement to both the press and on the official site.

People demanding talk in with the chairman? Fucking hell.

I have always said, that if I ever became minted I would buy Pools. But the last thing I would do is turn up at some shite event surrounded by redneck fans and answer questions about the running of the club.

Nor would I engage with stalkers on twitter either. The club would be run as I see fit. Not to the whim of a few die hard fans that have nowt better to do.

The last talk in there was statements of Championship Football as his target and owning the ground for the benefit of everyone connected to the club.
( well it was when the Season Tickets were on sale).
I will reserve further judgement till February.
