I'm out of touch with these things. Can someone give me the rundown on what to buy, what not to buy on eBay/ Amazon / Shops etc.

I am not sure they still are but Argos were doing it for £199 with 2 games. You won't find it better anywhere else.

Go on hotukdeals.com and search for playstation and it'll find the best current deals, each with a 'heat' rating for how hot the deal is.

I've seen loads of bundle deals(console, several games, other accessories) since they brought out the new model for not a huge amount of money.

Buy the PS Pro. More expensive but is an upgraded ps4. Especially so if you have a 4k TV

Bought my lad one a few months ago and all the advice was to get the biggest memory you can and something with all the most recent updates. Think that means the Pro now.

I've gone retro and Santa has brought me a 2nd hand Sega Megadrive from Ebay with over 10 games for £60 (inc Postage and packaging). Oh and I've just knocked out Evander Holyfield, am I the Bunkers first ever World Champion?

I got myself one of those a few months back when I was laid up for a few weeks. £50 from Argos. Only problem was most of my old games I found, plus some I bought from Ebay/ games shops didn't work on it. I've now got 6 copies of Evander Holyfields Real Deal Boxing and 3 copies of FIFA 07, which all work on my "new" Mega Drive.
