Been reading quite a bit of the boards regarding yesterday.

I summarise as follows:

HUFC, the whole club, is rotton.
Hignett is a c unt and should be drummed out of Hartlepool
The players are all non leagiue standard and have no balls.
The fans are fucking ace, and shouting off off off to your own manager, is perfectly normal and loyal behaviour.
Coxall is there for motives other than running a football club, and needs to explain what that is.

There is probably more but I am going to kill myself now based on the above.

What are you basing Hignett being a c unt on? A poor manager, evidently, but a c unt?

The players vary drastically in quality. I'd argue a handful are more than capable at this level at least.

Fans...I'll leave that one as they're no different to any other club. Although we do apparently have a drama queen!

Coxall could really do with a fans talk in type event to settle nerves. If his intentions are honest this shouldn't be a problem.

Mr Snowy. I have endured many taunts and disrespect due to my no longer being an ever present at games,and my loyalty was questioned.

Even though I am watching football every saturday afternoon. Just that my lads dont play for Pools.

But suddenly, loads are now saying that they are not going, slagging off the manager, the chairman, the club generally.

My only grouse with Pools was the love in with the fat controller, who is no longer there.

Anyway, nice poem.

Yes, there is always disappointment, Colonel. Life is one big clarty disappointment.

But that is the function of football. It's why people got to matches, to be able to blame football instead of having to face up to the inherent clartiness of life. I thought everyone knew this.
