As I dont go on message boards, I thought I would try and straighten things out about each supporters group and their aims. As I have attended these groups meetings, this is what, I understand each group to be doing. Firstly the oldest, the supporters association at the Corner Flag, it is in their constitution that they raise money for the youth team, it is paid by cheque into their account, next the disabled supporters, they raise cash for the running of their association and work with H.U.F.C. for the betterment of their members.next the trust, they raise money for the trust, not the football club, This is to be used for trust needs i.e. buying of shares and possible ground purchase. Then last but not least the friends 1908, they want to raise funds for worthy causes, their first aim is to raise cash for hartlepool ladies, who do not recieve money from H.U.F.C. All associations do not give cash to Pools, but strive to better the supporters and groups under the umbrella of football. If anyone has the knowledge to transfer this info onte the message boards I would be grateful.

Maybe each of the organisations should be advising in detail what their aims are. Not Ronnie's job to do this. I don't see a reason why all can't be given space on the Pools official website to promote themselves since all are in the interests of the club. Mark Simpson may be able to comment on that though. It would certainly aid in raising awareness of each as well as their purpose.

Thanks to Ronnie Harnish for setting this out clearly and well done to all concerned. Anyone who is prepared to give their free time and cash to these bodies has my respect.
