I love Snowdonia but I couldn't live there; I need to be close to a big city. If it wasn't for the mother-in-law living there, I could handle living around Amersham. Close to the chilterns, yet only one hour on the met line to London. The people, though, are bloody miserable.

Chester isn`t far away and a lovely place for restaurants, shopping and horse racing.

I said a city, not a large town pretending to be a city. Anyway, as I prefer the Llyn to Snowdonia it'd be quicker getting the train to Birmingham than driving to Chester.

Having worked in various places over the last few years the three places I really cant stand are manchester, birmingham and leeds.

Like liverpool. Love london and the south coast. And love durham too.

Quite liked edinburgh as well but hated glasgow.
