I am talking about mentioning the weather because we have travelled 'North' today by November standards anywhere in Great Britain was a mild day, 10 degrees in the car on the way down and no wind. A cold day? Shut up you fucking tool. It's like teams from the South almost making an excuse for losing as they have travelled to the frozen North. It's 200 miles away you complete plum sack I'd imagine Cheltenham enjoys a similar climate, I have been a couple of times and have never spotted Palm Tree.

To be honest PJ I'd be happy to see more reports from teams down South referencing 'freezing conditions,' 'bitingly cold wind off the North Sea' etc etc because it'd be an indication that Hartlepool is a hard place to come to get a result. Like in the good old days!

Monty I can't stess enough how mild this weekend has been in Hartlepool. Its forecast to be 13 degrees tomorrow, it was twelve yesterday, 13 degrees in the middle of November we live in crazy times.

Oh and get this according to the BBC and Met Office its forecast to be 13 here and 12 in London!!!!!!!!! Have some of that you soft Southern pansies.

I have been to Cheltenham a couple of times and on at least one of those occasions it was properly freezing. They had portaloos in the away end at the time as well that had human shit on the floor in them, that is totally unrelated some would say completely irrelevant in the context of this top thread but I bet Mark Simpson mentioned neither in his match report.

Surely it must have been laid there by a Poolie though, you can't blame the Spa folk for that.

I think that many match reports would be enhanced with details of the turds present in away end bogs. Particularly when playing Bristol teams, as their stool scale could be referenced.

They would blame us if roles were reversed, they'd say that local people had done it during the week before the match sheltering from the cold.
