Pools dvd con

Pools aren't doing a season review dvd - they want you to buy the dvd's of each full match to try and maximise revenue. No sale as far as I'm concerned.

I don't read it like that. I think they are just trying to sell their match dvds before they announce the season review. You can always tell when somethings about to happen on PoolsWolrd:

sign up for sms text message = we have a big announcement to make
buy your match dvds = season dvd coming soon
away strip sale = new strip out soon

I asked in the ticket office about an 06/07 dvd - the lass in the ticket office said that they were not planning to do one at all. Very, very disappointing. With all the best will in the world, nobody wants to pay £10 each for 46 dvd's, it is taking the pi$$ frankly, and a slap in the face for fans with only a small budget for spending on footy stuff.
Plus, why would anybody want to watch the first 89 minutes at home v Peterborough again? Come on Pools, this is out of order, no excuses for this. The only game I can think of wanting to watch right through would be Darlo away.

Remember the days when the CFE used to do their own season review DVD? I put a stop to that! :sweeeet:

OMG, that is SAD. I remember I used to tape Pools clips from "the back-page" with Duncan Wood and Roger Thames - this is not sad at all obviously!

Is Dave French (RIP) the Frenchy that played in centre midfield for the pools internet side against the loids ECG? Surely not? Or a relation?
As for the DVD lark, then if they have them all taped and are not compiling a compilation then that really is a piss take refred

I used to look forward to 'Score' once a year when they had Pools as the main match. Surely nowadays a DVD must be dirt cheap to produce banghead

You are talking about Dave French junior.

I believe Tyne Tees made the last promotion video. Maybe there is a problem with them and maybe HUFC don't have the expertise to make their own?
